The GE2C developer experience to create GE2C Transformers is summarized below.

Developer tooling to author data transformations is aligned with a data science stack: python, python developer tools (of which there are many options but we have documented setup of VisualStudio Code and Jupyter notebooks) and libraries, github, Travis CI. This allows “analytics developers” to leverage best-in-class tools. Further, it is viable to engage a larger, external development community that may be familiar with the tooling.

This development environment provides an easy glide path to implementing data science modeling libraries.
